9.9 MILLION CHF FOR UKRAINE
FSD is proud to announce renewed support from the Swiss Government for its programme in Ukraine. This project aims to increase FSD’s demining efforts in Kharkiv province and establish a new operational base in Kherson province to protect civilians from landmines and explosive remnants of war.
Rebuilding Hope in Afghanistan
In the isolated mountains of northeast Afghanistan, 18-year-old Hnfna’s life changed forever when she walked into a minefield while collecting firewood, losing her foot and part of her leg. With FSD’s support, Hnfna found new perspectives, not just for herself but also for her family.
For a safer world
In 2023, FSD teams located and neutralised 5'093 landmines and items of unexploded or abandoned ordnance.
