Paolo Baracchini graduated in chemical engineering from the Polytechnic Engineering of Genova. Paola also graduated "European Quality Manager", completing his training as an auditor for ISO 9001 and has been certified as an ISO 14001 environmental auditor by the ICAE in Paris..

Paolo is also an assessor for the EFQM model and the price Swiss ESPRIX. Expert in management of health and safety, he has successfully completed the training SUVA. A consultant specializing in operational aspects of business management, Paola works with different curricula at EPFL, Universities of Western Switzerland, Politecnico of Milan and the Ecole Nationale Polytechnique of Algiers. During his career he has been involved in the technical development, research, management and environmental quality in several European companies.

Paolo also participates in the activities of various associations in the areas of business management and environmental management. Paolo Baracchini currently works with the Laboratory for Research in Economics and Environmental Management (REME) in the Faculty ENAC, EPFL.
