Pierre Ammann holds a degree in Chemical Engineering. He obtained a Master’s Degree in Environmental Technologies in 1976 and Environmental Analytical Chemistry in 1978. From 1978 to 2006 Pierre became a lecturer at EPFL, conducting a postgraduate course in Environmental Technology, Waste management.  Pierre became an expert for examinations in environmental engineering in 1990. He also became member of the Board of European Confederation of Waste-to-Energy Plans, and President of the Swiss Waste Association VBSA/ASED.
