Alexander Griffiths has worked for FSD as Head of Operations since 2008, concentrating particularly on Tajikistan, and development of FSD business in Afghanistan, Central Asia and the Caucasus. Mr. Griffiths has a military background, having served in the British Army in a reconnaissance role..

Alexander has worked at the programme level in approximately 11 countries during his career. He is based at FSD's Geneva headquarters, but frequently deploys for work abroad. His key expertise is in survey operations, weapons and ammunition stockpile destruction, and mechanical operations.
