Based in Manila, Philippines with the FSD Manila Support Unit, FSD IT supports the Geneva Headquarters, Manila Support Office as well as various field offices.

Technical support services from IT can be obtained by Skype, e-Mail and telephone. Also for certain locations, a 'remote desktop' access session can also be arranged, which enables IT staff to evaluate and solve issues as if the IT staff was there.

IT also manages various critical infrastructures such as e-mail server, web servers, websites and other mission-critical IT infrastructures.

The IT Department also implements the Geneva HQ initiative to shift all FSD computers to Free/Open Source Software. More specifically, the use of OpenOffice.org and Ubuntu Linux.
