Stephanie was born on the island of Cyprus and was raised in Switzerland and the USA. She has a BA in International Affairs from the University of Colorado and is currently studying for a Master's Degree in Poverty Reduction from the University of London's School of Oriental and African Studies.

Over the last six years Stephanie has worked in post-conflict and development settings in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Afghanistan and Lao PDR. She began working with FSD in 2008.
